This surreal landscape contains the artist’s critique upon the evolution of man. In the foreground, richly colored illustrations depict a modern human emerging from starlight and primordial ooze. She longingly reaches for the pinnacle of creation: the omnipotent iPhone. The figure is tempted to look behind, to nature, once constricted to its rightful place in society, and farther back to nature running free.
