As a child, I would spend endless hours in grassy fields making flower crowns and playing "he love me, he loves me not." Spring rains soak the earth and dandelions and grape hyacinths glitter the grass with brilliant color. I sought to capture the spirit of spring mud season and spring sunlight, urging the earth back alive. I hope the painting makes you feel playful and free!
